Employment type: Part-time based on 25 hours per week. Flexible hours may be assigned for agency activities. This position must be available in an event of an emergency on an as needed basis. Job Summary The Facilities Support Worker is responsible for the janitorial duties, aiding kitchen staff, general assistance, minor repairs, snow removal, and lawn mowing at the Social Center assigned. Minimum Qualifications 1. High school or GED 2. Janitorial experience (preferred) 3. Must have proven abilities to work in the field 4. Must work well with others 5. Valid driver's license 6. Ability to pass required background checks and clearance, and drug screening Key Responsibilities 1. Janitorial duties throughout the social center 2. Submit purchase requisitions for maintenance supplies 3. Minor repairs 4. Snow removal 5. Lawn mowing 6. General assistance 7. Aiding kitchen staff Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Ability to work with older adults 2. Ability to work with other staff members 3. Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment Working Conditions 1. Work is primarily indoors but there is some outdoor work Physical Requirements 1. Must be able to lift 50 pounds 2. Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time 3.
