What You'll Do
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel components
- Complete TIG welding on steel materials as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Set up and adjust welding equipment for various materials and thicknesses
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
- Repair welding defects when necessary
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work closely with production teams to meet daily manufacturing goals
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- TIG welding experience preferred
- Experience welding structural steel highly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment This position is based in a steel fabrication shop where employees work with structural steel, welding equipment, and fabrication tools. Proper PPE, including welding helmets, gloves, protective clothing, and steel-toed footwear, is required. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.90 - $20.90/hr.
