Job Title: Production SupervisorJob DescriptionThis role is a production supervisor position within a corrugated manufacturing company. The primary responsibility is to oversee a designated area and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the department operates at peak effectiveness. The ideal candidate will actively lead by example, fostering team engagement and optimizing production processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of approximately 20 people, ensuring that production goals are met.
- Stay on the plant floor for 98% of the time to directly oversee operations.
- Review reports and ensure staff are positioned correctly to optimize production.
- Provide shift reports to the leadership team.
- Engage in hands-on tasks when necessary, such as operating a forklift or other equipment, to ensure team effectiveness.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing supervision role.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proven ability in production supervision and process improvement.
- A team-focused approach to leadership.
- A safety-focused approach to operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in corrugated manufacturing is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are an advantage.
