This position plays a critical role in testing, troubleshooting, and validating electrical and electromechanical components to ensure they meet stringent quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, experience working with electrical systems, and the ability to follow detailed test procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities are based on aerospace test lab and production testing functions, including test setup, execution, documentation, troubleshooting, and operation of specialized test equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate test equipment, test stands, and automate testing systems.
- Perform functional, performance, and acceptance testing on electrical and electromechanical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Collect, analyze, and document test data accurately.
- Complete test reports, inspection records, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with modifications to test setups and implementation of engineering changes.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve product issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all quality and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with root cause investigations when needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in manufacturing electrical testing, electronics, aerospace, or a related technical field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of electrical principles and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience using test equipment, multimeters, and computer-based testing systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday.
