Production Mechanic - Immediate Opening We are hiring a Production Mechanic for a growing seafood manufacturing company. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to keep operations running efficiently. Schedule Monday - Thursday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PMMust be open to occasional weekends and overtime as needed. Pay Based on experience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, packaging equipment, and other machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Minimize equipment downtime and support production operations
- Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow company procedures
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance or mechanic experience in manufacturing, production, food processing, or industrial environments
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment
- Basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge
- Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals is preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a cold environment and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred
- Food manufacturing or seafood industry experience
- Trade school or technical training
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
