Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated machine operator for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). This role involves cutting rolls of screening into various sizes according to customer specifications. The size and length of each order vary and precise measurements are essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to cut rolls of screening into specified sizes.
- Ensure accurate measurements using calipers and tape measures.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with lifting materials up to 75-100lbs occasionally.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations to ensure precision in measurements.
Essential Skills
- Strong manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to lift heavy materials with assistance.
- Strong tape measuring skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience with calipers is beneficial.
- Previous machine operating experience is advantageous.
