Job Title: Assembler1st Shift Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm$20/hrClimate controlled facilityJob DescriptionThe Assembler builds hydraulic valves used in industrial machinery, including on-off valves and proportional valves that regulate fluid flow. This role involves selecting the correct components for each project, assembling small parts using hand and power tools, and performing basic quality testing to ensure each valve meets performance and durability standards. The work is repetitive and detail-oriented, following project specifications, blueprints, and schematics in a clean, climate-controlled environment.Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic valves that are installed in machinery, including both on-off valves and proportional valves that control fluid flow.
• Review daily project assignments and pull the specific project to be completed each day.
• Identify and pick required parts for each project (e.g., Part A10, A12) by reading and interpreting measurements to ensure the correct components are selected.
• Perform general mechanical assembly of small parts, connecting components accurately and securely.
• Use power drills, hand tools, and other power tools to complete assembly tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow general blueprints and schematics to assemble products according to project specifications.
• Load assembled valves into testing equipment or machines to perform quality checks, including scratch resistance and heat-related tests.
• Monitor and verify that assembled products meet quality standards before they move to the next stage.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy while performing repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to support safe and efficient operations.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
