What You'll Be Doing
- Operate excavators and bulldozers on large commercial earthwork projects.
- Perform mass excavation, grading, and site preparation activities.
- Load trucks with soil and excavated materials safely and efficiently.
- Grade building pads, slopes, and surfaces to project specifications.
- Move, spread, and shape material using heavy equipment.
- Follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor direction.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain production goals while operating equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years operating excavators, dozers, or similar heavy equipment.
- Experience with mass grading, excavation, and earthmoving operations.
- Ability to read grade stakes and maintain accurate grades.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work overtime as project demands require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on large commercial, civil, or site development projects.
- Building pad preparation and finish grading experience.
- Experience loading haul trucks with excavators.
- Ability to operate multiple types of heavy equipment, including loaders and track hoes.
- GPS grading experience is a plus.

Work Environment This position is based on an active outdoor construction site in the Omaha area. Operators will spend the majority of their shift inside excavator and dozer cabs performing grading, excavation, and material movement activities. The work is fast-paced, production-focused, and safety-driven.
