Hiring Groundskeeper | Hiring Asap Job DescriptionThe Groundskeeper maintains the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of all outdoor areas across the property. This role performs landscaping, lawn care, general grounds maintenance, and seasonal upkeep to ensure a clean, attractive, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and customers.Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas to keep the grounds neat and well-groomed.
- Plant, water, weed, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation to promote healthy growth and an attractive appearance.
- Remove trash, debris, leaves, and other materials from grounds, walkways, and common areas to maintain cleanliness.
- Perform seasonal maintenance, including snow and ice removal, to ensure safe access during all weather conditions.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Monitor irrigation systems, identify issues, and promptly report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with basic repairs to fencing, signage, benches, and other outdoor fixtures to keep facilities in good condition.
- Maintain parking lots, sidewalks, and outdoor common areas to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and use required protective equipment.
- Communicate maintenance concerns, safety issues, or hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Perform other groundskeeping and general labor duties as assigned to support overall property upkeep.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor preferred.
- Ability to safely operate lawn care and landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to maintaining a clean and professional property appearance.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent grounds maintenance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

- General labor experience in an outdoor or maintenance setting.
- Comfort using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
