CONSTRUCTION LABORER $22$25/hr Description:If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with consistent hours and the chance to build valuable construction skills, this is the job for you! A growing construction company is hiring Construction Laborers to support a variety of projects by assisting with site preparation, clean-up, material handling, rough carpentry, demolition, and general labor activities. This position offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled tradespeople while providing a strong foundation for career growth within the construction industry.Responsibilities: Perform general labor duties including debris removal, sweeping, and jobsite clean-up to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Assist with rough carpentry tasks including framing support, temporary structures, and basic wood construction activities. Gather, organize, transport, and stage materials, tools, and equipment throughout the jobsite. Assist with the construction, installation, and maintenance of fencing, decks, platforms, and jobsite protection systems. Perform selective demolition work, including the removal of materials and structures as directed. Conduct daily inspections of work areas and project perimeters to ensure cleanliness, security, and compliance with safety standards. Assist in the assembly and construction of scaffolding under the direction of experienced personnel.Essential Skills: 2+ years of outdoor construction or general labor experience. Basic knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools used in commercial or residential construction. Experience safely using hand tools and power tools in a construction environment. Ability to accurately measure and mark materials using tape measures and other basic tools. Experience with site clean-up, material handling, and other general labor responsibilities. Familiarity with rough carpentry and basic construction support activities.Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience working with concrete or concrete-related construction activities is preferred. Comfortable using common construction tools such as hammers, levels, tape measures, and drills. Experience operating various power tools used in construction environments. Previous experience in general labor, demolition, landscaping, or construction-related roles.
