General Production Worker

Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionThe General Production Worker supports the installation of new production machinery and trains to operate these machines once they are fully operational. This role involves hands-on work with hand and power tools, active participation in machine setup, and flexibility to assist in various areas as production ramps up at a new facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and setup of new production machines at the facility.
• Train to operate roll forming and other production machines once they become fully operational.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during machine installation and general production tasks.
• Measure and mark materials accurately using a tape measure to support precise production work.
• Support general production activities, including material handling, basic assembly, and machine tending as needed.
• Perform general labor duties to help prepare and maintain the production area as the site gears up for full-scale operations.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while working with tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production tasks.
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist in different areas of the operation as the team and production volume grow.

Essential Skills

• Experience using hand tools in an industrial, construction, or production environment.
• Experience using power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to assist in all areas of production as needed while the facility increases output.
• Ability to learn and follow machine operating procedures.
• Comfort working in a general production or general labor role.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to support machine operation and setup.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Roll forming machine operating experience is a significant plus.
• Previous experience with machine operation in a production or construction environment is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and train on new machinery and processes.
• Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks as the site becomes fully operational.
• Strong work ethic and reliability in a growing production setting.
