Aero Structures Long Island, Inc. (ASLI) is seeking a Machine Operator, Associate to support the production of precision aerospace components in our Westbury manufacturing facility. The position is ideal for someone with manufacturing or machine-operation experience who wants to continue developing CNC and precision machining skills in a hands-on aerospace environment.

ASLI specializes in build-to-print machining and assembly of complex structural components for commercial and military aircraft programs. Our work supports major aerospace customers and programs, including Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Sikorsky, the CH-47 Chinook, V-22 Osprey, CH-53K, E-2D, F/A-18, Boeing 767, and Gulfstream aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
Operate assigned manufacturing equipment according to approved instructions and supervisor direction.
Perform basic machine checks and report equipment, production, or quality issues.
Monitor parts during production and use basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Read and follow work instructions, basic blueprints, and technical requirements.
Maintain accurate production records and a clean, safe work area.
Work with experienced operators and manufacturing leads while developing machine setup and operating skills.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) due to ITAR/EAR-controlled facility requirements.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Relevant manufacturing or machine-operation experience preferred.
CNC machining, metal manufacturing, grinding, deburring, or similar experience is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and read basic blueprints or technical information.
Ability to use, or willingness to learn, precision measuring equipment.
Dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
The salary range provided is a general guideline for a position based in New York. Actual compensation will depend on factors including the candidates qualifications, education, relevant experience, position scope, and market and business considerations.
Benefits for eligible employees include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, voluntary life insurance, 401(k) with company match, company-paid holidays, and Paid Time Off (PTO). Benefits are available after 30 days, first of the month.
