Description At Advanced Propane Inc., we believe in taking care of people - our customers, our team, and our community. We are looking for a dependable General Laborer to handle odd jobs around the company and keep our facilities and property looking sharp. This role reports directly to the President and works straight off his list, knocking out projects around the property as he sees fit. One day may be weed eating and spraying, the next may be a repair, a cleanup, or helping finish a build-out. There is also an opportunity to learn to run equipment for projects on adjacent company-owned land. From time to time you may be sent to work alongside another branch or crew for a few days when they need an extra set of hands, so being comfortable jumping in with people you have not worked with before matters in this role. No propane experience is needed - if you show up, take direction, and do good work on time, we will teach you the rest.
Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Occasional overtime as needed, but not expected.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle odd jobs around the company - whatever needs doing that day, indoors or out.
- Keep Advanced Propane facilities and property looking sharp and well kept, including buildings, yards, fence lines, and work areas.
- Work directly off the President's list and knock out projects around the property as he assigns them.
- Handle weed eating, mowing, trimming, and spraying to keep the grounds clean and presentable.
- Keep the yard, shop, and storage areas picked up, organized, and safe.
- Assist with projects and build-outs around the property as they come up.
- Step in with other branches and crews for a few days at a time when they need extra help, including teams you have not worked with before.
- Learn to operate equipment for various tasks on adjacent company-owned land.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Take direction well and complete assigned work on time and to standard.
- Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with team members.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with the ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Quick to learn and good working with your hands.
- Takes direction well and follows through.
- Flexible and adaptable - comfortable with priorities that change day to day.
- Willing to travel to other company locations and work with different crews as needed.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in general labor, lawn care, landscaping, grounds keeping, farm work, or construction.
- Experience operating equipment such as mowers, tractors, skid steers, or UTVs.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 100 lbs.
- Capability to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Comfort with performing physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
