Position Summary
The Machine Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and modifying metal components and equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint-reading abilities, experience performing independent machine setups, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures according to specifications.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication schematics.
- Perform machine and equipment setups independently with minimal supervision.
- Measure, cut, fit, and align materials to required dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate fabrication equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and make necessary adjustments during production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
