General Warehouse Associate - Hockley, TX Shift: M-F 7AM-4PM Pay: $21/hr. Position Summary: The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, stacking, counting, and inspecting products. Associates are expected to work safely and efficiently while meeting performance, quality, and safety standards. WAREHOUSE OPERATOR _DSV _Hockle Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Pick orders accurately using a pallet jack. - Stage products in designated areas. - Stack, package, band, shrink-wrap, and label products. - Verify products and orders for accuracy and quality. - Report damaged products or inventory discrepancies. - Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. - Follow company safety policies and OSHA/SDS standards. - Safely operate pallet jacks and other assigned equipment. - Report equipment problems as needed. - Assist with warehouse, grounds, or equipment maintenance as assigned. - Work overtime when required by business needs. WAREHOUSE OPERATOR _DSV _Hockle WAREHOUSE OPERATOR _DSV _Hockle Requirements: - High school diploma or GED required. - English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. - Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work with minimal supervision. - Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment. - Must be comfortable working in a warehouse with varying temperatures. - Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift. - Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and reach. - Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21-50 lbs. - 6+ months of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. - Current or previous forklift certification preferred. - No Theft or Violent crimes accepted.
