Environmental Services Accela at Manalapan Manalapan Township, New Jersey Accela at Manalapan is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Environmental Services team member to join our team at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Manalapan. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and other facility areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas according to facility standards
- Collect and dispose of trash appropriately
- Restock cleaning and housekeeping supplies as needed
- Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents
- Follow infection-control, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Work cooperatively with nursing, maintenance, and other departments
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality
- Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or cleaning experience preferred
- Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Professional and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with housekeeping in a healthcare environment
