A&l Distributors is looking for a driver with a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and a clean driving record. Must be able to get tanker and hazmat endorsements (Company will help pay for & acquire). Hours: 40 hours with potential for weekly overtime. Some routes may include 1-2 nights out. Home on weekends. Responsibilities: • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times. • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack or by hand and place products in designated customer storage areas. • Verify the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures. • Handle collections and payments from customers, when applicable. • Complete Daily Driver's Logs. • Adhere to Company policies and work requirements. • Operate liftgates on all trailers. • Perform daily safety checks of the delivery vehicle; pre-trip and post-trip inspections. • Maintains a neat personal appearance. • Promote good customer relations to enhance our client experience. • Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
