Original job description

Job Title:

Sales Representative – Rebate Program

San Diego, CA (Field / Hybrid)

About the Role

We are hiring driven Sales Representatives to promote and close projects under a fully funded energy efficiency rebate program.

This is a high-opportunity, commission-focused role where your primary responsibility is to generate and close deals with small businesses - no cost to the customer, making the sales process fast and effective.

You will focus on prospecting, presenting the program, and closing deals, while our operations team handles installation and execution.

What You’ll Do

Prospect small businesses in San Diego (in-person, phone, outreach)
Present the rebate program (no-cost upgrades, energy savings)
Close deals and secure signed agreements
Build and manage your own pipeline
Work closely with operations for smooth handoff after closing
Hit monthly sales targets and grow your book of business

What We’re Looking For

Strong sales mentality (hunter mindset)
Comfortable with field sales / door-to-door / in-person meetings
Confident communicator who can close deals quickly
Self-driven and results-oriented
Experience in sales is preferred (home services, solar, HVAC, or similar is a plus)

Compensation (Simple & Aggressive)

Commission Structure

10% commission per closed deal

Example Earnings

1 deal = ~$3,500 → $350 commission
30 deals/month → $10,500 income
40+ deals/month → $14,000+ income

No cap - your income is directly tied to your performance

Why This Role is Strong

No-cost offer → easier to close
High demand (proven pipeline)
Fast sales cycle
Operations team handles fulfillment
Unlimited earning potential

Ideal Candidate

Someone who:

Wants to make $10K–$20K+/month
Is comfortable being in the field and talking to business owners
Moves fast and closes, not just “talks”
