JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Line Worker to join our team in a plastics extrusion facility. This role involves inspecting, packaging, and preparing plastic parts for shipment, ensuring all products meet quality standards and are packed according to company specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a team, and is committed to maintaining safety and productivity on the production line. Key Responsibilities - Inspection: Visually inspect plastic parts for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards before packing. - Packing: Place parts in designated packaging materials, boxes, or pallets as per specified instructions to protect them during shipping. - Labeling: Properly label packages and containers with product information, Lot numbers, and other necessary details. - Quality Control: Notify the supervisor of any defects, product inconsistencies, or machine malfunctions. - Machine Support: Assist machine operators by maintaining a steady flow of materials to the line, as needed, and clearing packed items from workstations. - Documentation: Complete Quality logs for packaged quantities, product numbers, and other relevant information. - Housekeeping: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and productive environment. - Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection. Physical Demands - May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers - May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Ability to operate motorized equipment safely Requirements - Must be motivated and possess a high attention to detail - Prior experience with manufacturing assembly, handwork or packing - Be willing to work various shifts, hours, and overtime as required - Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal Other Responsibilities Follows Companys quality and corporate/environmental policies.
