Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to join our team in Highlands, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport goods to assigned destinations on time.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and maintenance standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle inspections, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position involves long hours on the road and may require overnight stays. Drivers must be prepared to work in various weather conditions and handle physical demands related to loading and unloading cargo.
