Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Cloud Developer / Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support modern enterprise applications across Microsoft, Azure, AWS, and Snowflake platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Angular, TypeScript, SQL Server, REST APIs, JSON, cloud-native development, containerization, and Snowflake, along with experience using modern Agentic AI and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude.
This role will work across the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, application development, database development, API integration, cloud deployment, testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support. The developer will collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, data teams, infrastructure teams, and other developers to deliver secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET.
Develop modern, responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript and related front-end technologies (i.e., AppSmith).
Design and implement RESTful APIs and application integration services.
Develop solutions that exchange and process structured data using JSON and API-based integration patterns.
Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using SQL Server 2022, including:
T-SQL queries
Stored procedures
Views
Functions
Tables and indexes
Data transformations
Query and database performance optimization
Develop, debug, test, and deploy applications using Visual Studio 2022 and modern source-control practices.
Design and implement cloud-based applications and services within Microsoft Azure.
Develop and support solutions using AWS services, including:
Amazon ECS
Amazon EC2
AWS Lambda
Amazon S3
Create and maintain container images, configuration, deployment processes, and environment-specific application settings.
Develop and support data integrations between enterprise applications, SQL Server, cloud platforms, APIs, and Snowflake.
Write and optimize Snowflake SQL for data processing, transformation, integration, and analytical workloads.
Support data movement and integration between transactional systems, APIs, cloud storage, and Snowflake.
Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
Develop reusable components, libraries, APIs, and services following established software engineering standards.
Perform application debugging, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.
Implement appropriate application logging, monitoring, exception handling, and operational support capabilities.
Participate in code reviews and promote software development best practices related to maintainability, performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support automated build, deployment, and release processes.
Support applications across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Create and maintain technical documentation for application architecture, APIs, database objects, integrations, and deployment processes.
Agentic AI and AI-Assisted Development
Leverage modern Agentic AI and AI-assisted development tools, including:

Use AI tools to accelerate software development activities such as:
Code generation
Code refactoring
Unit test generation
SQL development
API development
Technical documentation

Apply responsible AI development practices and comply with organizational security, privacy, intellectual-property, and data-governance requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
3+ years of hands-on developing experience including C#, .NET, Angular, TypeScript, SQL server and SSIS.
Experience designing enterprise APIs and integration solutions.
Experience working in both Azure and AWS environments.
Experience with cloud-native and distributed application architectures.
Experience with Snowflake or another enterprise cloud data platform.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments.
Experience supporting business-critical production applications.
Experience applying secure development practices to cloud and web applications.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional software engineering environment.

Location and Workplace Flexibility
Zelis is headquartered in the U.S., with multiple locations across the country and in Hyderabad, India. Check out our locations to learn more about our offices. All employee work locations are based on the needs of the position and are determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities vary based on work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
While location expectations vary by role, candidates within approximately 50 miles of a U.S. office are generally preferred to support collaboration when needed. Our hybrid approach is flexible, and in-office presence is guided by team and business needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.
Base Salary Range
$105,000.00 - $133,000.00
At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
