Group Exercise Instructor

In search of:

Part-time Group Exercise Instructors at the Lake Community YMCA to teach a variety of weekday morning classes, such as:

• Pilates - Weekday morning or Saturday morning
• Yoga - Saturday morning
• Parkinson's - Monday or Friday at 1pm (all trainings and certifications provided by the Y)

Starting rate:

$11.00 - $16.00

Qualifications:

• Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide
• Certification from nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency
• Able to teach multiple formats, preferred

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm
• Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants
• Serve as a good role model
• Communicate with team members
• Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide
