Your New Role
- Support small to medium-sized commercial and residential electrical projects from Denver, Colorado
- Attend bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and pre-bid conferences
- Review RFPs, electrical plans, specifications, and schematics to determine project scope
- Prepare accurate estimates, bids, proposals, and material takeoffs
- Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Develop estimates using historical cost data and electrical estimating software
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals for scope, accuracy, and pricing
- Prepare and manage electrical change orders
- Maintain organized estimating documentation and bid records
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents during bidding and preconstruction
- Improve estimating processes while maintaining compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes

- 2 to 5 years of electrical estimating and electrical construction experience
- Proven ability to prepare accurate electrical estimates, bids, and takeoffs
- Strong knowledge of the NEC and applicable local building codes
- Proficiency with electrical estimating software
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license
- Authorized to work in the United States
