Full-Time | Rotating Shifts

In this role as a Utility Operator, you will learn and operate a variety of plant equipment while helping ensure safe, efficient plant operations. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to cross-train, develop new skills, and grow within the company.

What You'll Do

• Operate milling, drying, and other production equipment
• Monitor raw material levels, temperatures, and production processes
• Identify and address equipment issues before they become failures
• Provide support and relief for other plant positions
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping tasks
• Communicate important shift information to incoming operators
• Work closely with production team members to meet operational goals
• Follow all safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Manufacturing, plant, or industrial experience is preferred but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Work Environment

• Rotating shift schedule
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, machinery, and mobile equipment
• Frequent climbing of ladders and stairs
• Ability to work at heights
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• Regular lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Must follow all safety and PPE requirements
