Concrete Dispatch Estimator

About the Role:

The Concrete Dispatch Estimator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate estimation and dispatching of ready-mixed concrete for construction projects. This position is responsible for analyzing project plans, coordinating with project managers, and preparing detailed estimates that align with project requirements and timelines. The role demands close collaboration with field teams and suppliers to manage change orders and ensure compliance with safety standards such as OSHA 10 and 30-hour construction courses. The estimator will utilize project management software to track progress, manage documentation, and meet strict deadlines, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of concrete materials on schedule. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can balance technical knowledge with effective communication to support project execution from start to finish.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience with ready-mixed concrete estimation and dispatching.
• Completion of OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course.
• Proficiency in document management and project management software.
• Strong understanding of change order processes and project planning.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course.
• Experience using Microsoft Project for scheduling and resource management.
• Background in construction project management or related field.
• Familiarity with advanced project planning and estimation tools.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret project plans and specifications to prepare accurate concrete dispatch estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to schedule and dispatch ready-mixed concrete deliveries efficiently.
• Manage and maintain all project documentation, including change orders and compliance records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Utilize project management software and Microsoft Project to track project timelines, resources, and deadlines.
• Ensure all dispatch activities comply with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
