Production Associate

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Production Associate is responsible for safely moving material around the plant for production to run smoothly. Work involves a high degree of alertness and concentration to completes tasks. Work related problems have known solutions but may require some cause-and-effect analysis and can be resolved by using prescribed methods and procedures. Incumbents may not always control their work pace, and there is time sensitive to finish job tasks. perform multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure safe and quality production. Incumbents will be performing production tasks which may be in a PSM area and be exposed to adverse characteristics in the work environment. Work effectively in a team environment focused on Safety, Culture, Quality, Delivery, and Cost Follow all plant safety requirements, company policies, and procedures Perform production operations, including assembly, testing, material handling, welding, press room, paint line, and product transfer Follow detailed work instructions to manufacture quality parts safely and efficiently Conduct quality inspections, identify defects, and address quality issues Maintain inventory accuracy by counting, labeling, weighing, and tracking parts and materials Collect and label material samples with identifying information Stack steel products onto pallets, boxes, or bins Assist with conveyor and stand placement Perform basic machine adjustments and repairs as needed Complete production paperwork and record daily production data accurately Maintain a clean and organized work area, including machines, tools, and equipment Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist team members as needed Demonstrate a strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to high-quality work Perform other duties as assigned by the lead or supervisor ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Possess good problem solving and troubleshooting skills and safety practices Possess a high level of initiative and personal accountability Ability to measure, read, write and document work Ability to sustain a steady work pace over an entire work day Basic math & reading skills Possess basic computer skills Comfortable performing a wide range of responsibilities, from thinking broadly to executing detailed tasks Proven ability to effectively work in a detailed, fact based environment Commitment to personal integrity and integrity of the product(s) and processes Customer focused with the ability to function with a high sense of urgency ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Other: https://fa-eygo-saasfaprod1.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_2001/job/43446/?utm_medium=jobshare&utm_source=External+Job+Share Mail a Rsum: hannah.kostas@wthg.com
