You will ensure strong controls, predictable execution, and service-level performance, while driving standardization, automation, and long-term platform evolution. Accounts Payable operates in Oracle Cloud, which gives you a significant opportunity to increase adoption, automation, and efficiency across invoice processing, vendor management, and disbursements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounts payable leader with deep AP expertise, strong Oracle Cloud fluency, and a proven ability to lead teams through operational and systems change. You will ensure operational excellence, strong financial controls, and service-level performance across AP, while leading process standardization, systems optimization, and continuous improvement. You will also lead and develop a team of AP professionals across multiple locations. What You Will Do Accounts Payable Leadership Lead end-to-end AP operations, including vendor management, invoice processing, three-way match, expense processing, and disbursements. Ensure accurate, timely, and controlled execution in support of month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting. Establish and manage service-level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and performance dashboards for AP. Drive working capital initiatives, including disciplined payables management, payment terms optimization, and capture of early-payment discounts. Maintain strong SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness, including vendor master data controls and fraud prevention. Stabilization & Process Excellence Assess current-state AP processes to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and operational risk. Standardize and document AP processes across business units and locations. Implement best practices in AP, including workflow management, exception handling, and centralized governance. Build scalable operating models that support continued growth. Systems Optimization & Transformation Optimize Oracle Cloud AP functionality to ensure best-in-class utilization and adoption. Partner closely with IT to improve systems integration, data quality, reporting, and automation (RPA, AI-enabled invoice capture, EDI optimization). Lead the AP technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and financial controls. Use AI tools in your day-to-day work, such as analysis, reporting, and process improvement, and set the expectation for your team to do the same. Leadership & Talent Development Lead and develop a team of AP professionals across multiple locations. Foster a culture of accountability, customer and vendor service, and continuous improvement. Assess talent capabilities, upgrade skill sets where needed, and build bench strength. Lead change management efforts tied to process redesign, system enhancements, and organizational evolution. What Success Looks Like (First 6 to 12 Months) AP operations are stable, predictable, and consistently meeting defined SLAs. Measurable improvement in working capital performance, including payment terms compliance and discount capture. Standardized, well-documented processes with strong internal controls.
