Job Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling, turning, and other machining equipment to fabricate parts and components to specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, ensuring precision in each project.
• Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and safety.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and suggest improvements for manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and other relevant metrics.
• Uphold the company's commitment to quality by exercising attention to detail and implementing best practices in machining.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists as needed.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines and understanding related tools and equipment.
• Strong mathematical skills, particularly in relation to measurements and tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Desired Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with various machining techniques, including 5 Axis machining, EDM, and precision grinding.
• Experience with quality control and inspection tools such as CMM measuring equipment.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality machined components on time and within specifications.
