Facilities Services Tech II

Primary Purpose Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Services II works independently to perform a wide range of general maintenance, grounds, and motor pool duties within College owned properties. Performs essential job duties in accordance with all safety regulations. Description of Essential Functions: Building Maintenance Activities (approx. 50% of Time) Grounds (approx. 30% of Time) Motor Pool Support (approx. 10% of Time) Campus Operations (approx. 10% of Time) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: -High school diploma or GED/equivalent. -Three (3) years of experience working in building or large facility maintenance, grounds, or related environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for this position possessing one or more of the following knowledge, skills and abilities with receive preferred consideration through the selection process: -Associate degree. -Maintenance experience in a public institution. -Forklift and Scissor Lift training and experience SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OR LICENSES: -Current or must obtain within six (6) months of hire, CPR/AED, First Aid, Blood borne Pathogens certifications. -Current or must obtain within six (6) months of hire a valid Oregon driver\'s license. Must meet the College\'s requirements associated with driving campus vehicles. -Current or must obtain within six (6) months of hire a State of Oregon School Integrated Pest Management License.
