Child Psychiatrist

LOCATION: Fully Remote, will visit STAR location in Boardman, OR quarterly. (\$307,400 - \$461,200 annually - breaks down to \$147.79 - \$221.73 per hour, depending on experience) This wage reflects Full-time work of 40 hours per week. *The wage will be pro-rated at the beginning of hire based on weekly hours, hours will increase with facility needs. \$5,500 HIRING BONUS available until 10/31/26 (2 year Commitment, Staggered-taxed Payout) DESCRIPTION The Child Psychiatrist serves as the attending physician responsible for psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and medical oversight of psychiatric care for youth admitted to Specialized Treatment and Resiliency (STAR). The psychiatrist collaborates with an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, evidence-based psychiatric services that promote stabilization, safety, recovery, and successful transition to community-based care. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Education and Experience Medical degree in psychiatry from an accredited program.
