CNC Swiss Programmer 1. Location: Latrobe, PA 2. Schedule: Daylight Hours Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Latrobe, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC programming experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to develop efficient programs for Swiss-style CNC machining. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional looking for a stable, full-time position on a daylight shift with competitive pay based on experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for Swiss-style CNC machines 2. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications 3. Develop efficient machining processes to meet production and quality requirements 4. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies 5. Set up and troubleshoot CNC Swiss machining operations as needed 6. Review programs for accuracy, efficiency, and manufacturability 7. Troubleshoot programming and machining issues and make necessary adjustments 8. Work closely with machinists, engineering, and production personnel 9. Maintain accurate programming and job documentation 10. Assist with continuous improvement of machining processes and production efficiency 11. Follow all company safety and quality procedures Qualifications 1. Previous experience programming CNC Swiss machines required 2. Previous experience with Swiss-type CNC equipment required 3. CAD/CAM experience required 4. Strong understanding of CNC machining processes 5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints 6. Knowledge of tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and machining techniques 7. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills 8. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 9. Ability to troubleshoot CNC programming and machining issues 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation & Benefits 1. $25.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience 2.
