CDL Driver

Class A CDL Driver 1. Location: Latrobe, PA 2. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00 AM Start until route completion (8-9.5 hour days) What will you be doing? 1. Operate rear-load garbage trucks on residential and commercial routes 2. Ability to operate Front Load, Side Load (ASL), Roll-off a plus! 3. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily safety inspections (DVIRs) 4. Safely navigate routes, residential streets, alleys, and commercial areas 5. Work with a Loader to complete routes efficiently and safely (if applicable) 6. Assist with loading when needed, including bulk and large-item pickups 7. Operate automated and semi-automated lifting equipment 8. Transport and dispose of waste at designated facilities 9. Complete route sheets, work orders, dump tickets, and required documentation 10. Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding delays, hazards, or service issues 11. Identify and report damaged containers or equipment 12. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck 13. Refuel and monitor fluid levels as needed 14. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies, including Life Critical Rules (LCRs) What are the Job Requirements? 1. Valid CDL Class B or higher (no air brake restriction) 2. Valid Medical Certificate 3. Minimum 1 year of experience operating a commercial vehicle (CMV) 4. Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements 5. Waste industry experience preferred 6. Strong understanding of safety procedures and DOT regulations 7. Ability to work early morning hours and in outdoor conditions 8. Strong communication and teamwork skills 9. Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment screening 10. Ability to work in all weather conditions Interested?
