Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, and React or Angular.

This is a true full-stack role where frontend and backend development are equally important. The exact distribution of responsibilities will be confirmed with the hiring team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices-based backend solutions.
• Develop responsive, reusable frontend components using React or Angular.
• Implement application features using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL-based databases.
• Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable application integrations.
• Support application deployment and troubleshooting in AWS cloud environments.
• Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and related development tools.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and cross-functional development teams.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Contract and Work Arrangement

This is a one-year W2 contract opportunity, not a contract-to-hire position. Benefits are not included.

The position follows a hybrid work arrangement in the Dallas area, with approximately 3–4 onsite days per week anticipated. The exact schedule will be confirmed with the hiring team.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Proven experience developing Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong frontend development experience with React.js or Angular.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and application architecture.
• Experience with Git, debugging, unit testing, and Agile development practices.
• Ability to contribute effectively to both frontend and backend development.
• Ability to work onsite in the Dallas area according to the confirmed hybrid schedule.
• Eligibility and willingness to work on a W-2 contract basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience using JUnit, Mockito, or similar testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with distributed systems, messaging technologies, and performance optimization.
• Previous experience developing enterprise-scale applications.
