Heavy Equipment Mechanic Schedule: Day Shift Pay Rate: Based on Experience ## Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. ### Responsibilities 1. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on heavy equipment. 2. Perform routine maintenance and preventative service. 3. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. 4. Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged parts. 5. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. 6. Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and safely. ### Qualifications 1. Previous experience working on heavy equipment preferred. 2. Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. 3. Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 6. Must be able to pass a drug test and physical examination.
