Housekeeping Supervisor

Description Winvian Farm, a luxury Five-Diamond resort located in the beautiful Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This hands-on supervisory position works closely with the Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations, support and train housekeeping staff, and ensure our guest cottages and property consistently meet our luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional cleanliness and service standards.
• Inspect guest cottages and common areas to ensure compliance with Winvian's housekeeping standards.
• Assist with daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning guest cottages and preparing rooms for guest arrivals.
• Conduct thorough room inspections and pre-arrival checks.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and inventory levels.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager with scheduling, staff performance, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure employees follow established housekeeping procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments to address guest needs and operational priorities.
• Assume supervisory responsibilities in the Housekeeping Manager's absence.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required; 2 years of hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must meet Winvian Farm's company vehicle driving and insurance eligibility requirements.

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
