This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to creating systemic change and improving outcomes for children and families experiencing homelessness.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and implement advocacy campaigns focused on ending family homelessness, while engaging residents and staff to identify emerging issues and policy solutions.
  • Draft and contribute to policy briefs, testimony, reports, presentations, and other advocacy materials.
  • Conduct literature reviews and qualitative analyses to ensure policy recommendations are evidence-based and data-informed.
  • Partner with the Research, Evaluation, and Strategic Learning team to analyze and apply organizational data to advocacy initiatives.
  • Monitor legislative, policy, and political developments, and provide timely analysis and recommendations.
  • Represent Win in advocacy coalitions, stakeholder meetings, and external forums.
  • Coordinate with policymakers, government agencies, and community partners to advance policy priorities.
  • Provide analytical and project management support for strategic initiatives and special projects.

WHO YOU WILL BE

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in public policy, Political Science, Social Work, Sociology, Urban Studies, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.

• Possess knowledge of policy issues impacting individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex policy concepts into clear, concise language.

• Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
