Full Time Specialty Goods Associate

Alaskan and Proud Markets is a locally owned and operated Grocery Store headquartered in Ketchikan, Alaska.

We are looking for an energetic and innovative person to join our Ketchikan Specialty team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills

Strong work ethic and dependable

Strong verbal and communication skills

Basic understanding of grocery store operations

Ability to Multi-Task

Attention to detail

Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. regularly

Ability to stand/walk for a full 8-hr work period

Basic full body motions:

bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, reaching

Flexibility with work schedule (including weekends and holidays)

Ability to arrive to work on time ready to start work

Must be over 18 years of age

Duties and Responsibilities:

Stocking and Rotating Products based on Best Use Dates

Receiving Freight and Organizing Specialty storage Space

Checking in product and tracking inventory according to store standards

Cleaning, Maintaining work and merchandising areas

Merchandising products as directed

Assist with ordering and identifying products needed weekly

Assisting front end operations

Misc. job tasks as assigned by store director or supervisor

Follow and comply with company policies and procedures

Follow and complies with Health and Safety policies

Contributing to a Positive Work Atmosphere
