Full Time Dairy Associate

Alaskan and Proud Markets is a locally owned and operated Grocery Store headquartered in Ketchikan, Alaska.

We are looking for an energetic and innovative person to join our Ketchikan Dairy team.

There is a great opportunity for advancement within the Alaskan and Proud Operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills

Basic understanding of perishable retail operations

Strong work ethic and dependable

Strong verbal and communication skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly

Ability to stand/walk for a full 8-hr work period

Basic full body motions:

bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, reaching

Flexibility with work schedule (including weekends and holidays)

Have reliable transportation options to make it to work on time

Capable and receptive to working in cold environment for long periods of time

Ability to arrive to work on time ready to start work

Must be over 18 years of age

Duties and Responsibilities:

Stocking and Rotating Products based on Best Use Dates

Assisting freezer and front end operations as needed

Receiving Freight and Organizing Dairy Space

Cleaning, Maintaining work and merchandising areas

Merchandising products as directed

Assist with ordering and identifying products needed weekly

Assisting front end operation as needed.

Misc. job tasks as assigned by store director or supervisor

Follow and comply with company policies and procedures

Follow and complies with Health and Safety policies

Contributing to a Positive Work Atmosphere
