CNC Set Up / Machine Operator

Local machine shop in Lowell, Wie Sic Machine Inc., is looking for a skilled CNC Set Up / Machine Operators.\ For the CNC milling set up position, candidates must have a MINIMUM 3 years of experience.\ For Machine operators, they must have 1-2 years of experience.\ Job Requirements:\

• Must be able to read, speak and write English.\
• Must be able to read blueprints and read all gauging and measuring tools.\
• Must be capable of standing for a long period and be able to carry approximately fifty (50) lbs. occasionally.\ Job Duties:\
• Use procedure /tool sheet to set up the job and then be able to operate CNC vertical/horizontal milling machines.\
• Use various gauging and measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, gage pins and thread gages).\
• Read blueprints; understand and demonstrate safe job practices.\
• Complete job-related paperwork, checklists, production logs, etc.\
• Maintain quality; achieve production rate.\
• Maintain neat and orderly work area.\
• Bend to lift loads frequently.\
• Always wear required safety equipment.\ Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week\ Pay: \$17.00 - \$25.00 per hour
