Twin/Debarker/Chop Saw

Weyerhaeuser’s Montana Wood Products is currently looking to fill a Sawmill Twin/Debarker/Cut Off position at our Kalispell Lumber Facility. Our manufacturing facilities are highly automated and utilize many leading-edge technologies in the wood products industry. Hourly pay rate: $29.51 Key Functions

• Operate stop and loader to place logs in correct orientation on sharp chain to maximize quality and productivity
• Able to keep full production pace while maintaining quality
• Assist with saw changes
• Monitor waste systems, production flow, cants and slab to other machine centers
• Communicate issues that arise on the floor to the appropriate areas, maintenance team and supervisors
• Apply knowledge of log species
• Will need to operate the chain saw as needed
• Minimum of one year of experience operating Twin Saw required
• Minimum of one year of experience operating Chop saw required
• Minimum of one year of experience operating Debarker required

• Demonstrate ability to work safely and care for tools and equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime, odd hours, weekends, holidays and other shifts as required.
• Willing to perform other duties or positions as required.
