$25.98 per hour Weyerhaeuser is seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Weyerhaeuser’s Montana Wood Products is currently looking to fill a Planer/Bander/Stacker Operator position at our Kalispell Lumber facility. Key Functions
- Operate a planer stacker and an automatic lathe placer to produce evenly stickered square loads from shift production and external sources
- Learn Bander and Utility Job
- Grade out economy boards from stud boards
- Keep flow going when bander is down
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation
- Minimum of one year of experience operating sawmill equipment strongly preferred
- Equipment in a stud mill is preferred
Specific Skills
- Able to keep full production pace while maintaining quality
- Demonstrate team player skills in working with co-workers and supervisors.
- Must have good performance, safety and attendance records.
- Must demonstrate good communication skills.
- Must have ability to identify, communicate potential problems, and work to solve them.
- Proven ability to work without direct supervision.
- Demonstrate ability to work safely and care for tools and equipment.
- Willingness to work overtime, Weekends, Holidays and other shifts as needed
