Cumulus Media Dallas is seeking an experienced Country Format Program Director for New Country 96.3 and 99.5 The Wolf.

JOB SUMMARY:

Cumulus Dallas is looking for an experienced Program Director. This position supervises and directs on-air personnel and programming and promotions team members. The overall on-air product, contests and promotions, manages and coaches on air talent, production, imaging, promotions, work and program schedules, schedules music clocks, outlines strategic initiatives, station branding and imaging. Oversees strategic research and marketing projects. The candidate should have knowledge of the country music format and lifestyle, must understand Nielsen Ratings, PPM and have a track record of ratings success. All Candidates must have great creative sensibilities and know how to image and manage the natural evolution of larger than life country music brands. Candidates must also exhibit an understanding of audio consumption in 2020 to ensure our huge Texas brands continue to resonate across all platforms where country music is accessed by consumers. Candidates must have a great ear for music and entertainment in order to effectively get the most out of a talented and experienced staff. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and have an excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications/Requirements:

The ideal candidate has large or major market experience as a Program Director and understands and can analyze ratings under a PPM system. The candidate should have knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations, understanding of market/product research, computer literacy in automation system and other applicable programs, skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting and other related production equipment. Essential in problem-solving ability and in prioritizing and multitasking, ability to interact with management and staff in a respectful and professional manner at all levels in the cluster and the corporate level, excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership as well as a strong attention to detail.
