Role Description This position is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on air compressors and related peripheral equipment at customer locations and in the shop. Daily tasks include inspecting systems, identifying malfunctions, failures in equipment, mechanical and electrical issues, replacing parts, completing performance tests, preventative maintenance, and documenting all work performed. The technician will respond to service calls, support installations and start-ups, and collaborate with the service team to ensure equipment reliability and safety. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers, explaining findings and recommendations, providing technical support and maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence while on site. Qualifications Strong maintenance and repair skills for air compressors and related mechanical systems, with the ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical knowledge and determining effective corrective actions. Experience in field service work, including traveling to customer sites, working independently, and managing service schedules and documentation. Effective customer service abilities, including clear communication, professionalism on site, and responsiveness to customer needs and concerns. General maintenance skills applicable to industrial equipment, tools, and facilities, with a focus on safety and reliability.
