Our Team is based out of our office in Burlington, Massachusetts, where we work in-office Monday through Thursday each week, and remotely on Fridays. Team members must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Burlington office.
The Treasury Manager oversees treasury operations, cash management, banking relationships, and cash flow forecasting, providing visibility into the company’s liquidity and working capital. This role strengthens financial controls, supports effective financial planning and decision-making, and partners cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and other business teams. Additionally, the Treasury Manager oversees and optimizes global cash flow, including monitoring international cash balances and managing cash pooling and repatriation strategies to maximize global liquidity and improve cash utilization.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Cash Management & Forecasting: Oversee daily cash positioning, liquidity management, and funding requirements. Develop and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast with detailed projections for major disbursements, including inventory purchases, co-manufacturing (Co-Man), employee benefits, board fees, capital expenditures, and other operating expenses. Analyze forecast variances and identify potential cash flow risks and opportunities.
- Banking & Lender Relationships: Manage relationships with banking partners and lenders, including banking operations, account administration, lender reporting, debt obligations, and compliance requirements.
- Accounts Payable: Oversee AP operations, payment processes, and disbursement planning. Ensure appropriate controls and approval procedures while balancing timely vendor payments with cash management objectives.
- Insurance, Tax & Intercompany: Oversee corporate insurance administration, including renewals and premium payments. Coordinate tax-related payments and manage intercompany agreements and activities in partnership with Accounting, Tax, Legal, and external advisors.
- Reporting & Process Improvement: Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls. Improve cash forecasting accuracy, streamline processes, optimize working capital, and provide leadership with clear visibility into liquidity and upcoming financial obligations.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and other stakeholders to validate forecast assumptions and anticipate significant cash commitments. Payroll oversight may be included depending on workload and team structure.
