Lab Supervisor

The Lab Supervisor is responsible for providing operational support to the Open Student Computer Labs under Technology Support Services in the IT Department and reports to the Computer Labs Coordinator. Responsibilities will include administering the hiring process of all student employees for the Computer Labs and Student Technology Assistants (STAs) and supervising and training 50+ student employees within the Open Student Computer Labs.Maintain digital and verbal communication and support with student employees during regular operating hours ranging from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 7 days a week. Scheduling classroom for faculty and staff,support Coordinator to organize and facilitate a broad range of employee activities,events,professional development,and job training.Provide administrative and budgetary support and forecasts for Computer Lab operations and Technology Support Services department. Participate in IT Department committees and activities in addition to other duties as assigned.
