Substitute Van Driver

What You Will Do:

• Be a substitute for the regular van routes
• 4 hours a day minimum, 5 days a week
• Be an aide on buses if needed

Need to Have:

You must have a State of Michigan Chauffeur Driver's License. If you do not have this certification, go to the Secretary of State and request it. It will require a written test.

• You must maintain an accident-free and violation-free driving record

Preferred Personal and Professional Competencies:

• Ability to transport special needs children, ages 3 - 26, safely to and from school
• Ability to secure car seats in the vehicle, which may require getting into the back seat
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students and parents
