Original job description
Who We Are We are Waste Harmonics Keter, your partner in handling complex waste operations. Growing steadily for nearly 25 years, we have become the choice provider for managed waste services by pairing high-touch, white-glove customer service with data-driven, tech-enabled programs. From developing proprietary monitoring technology to linking arms with other industry leaders to strengthen our operations, we have a storied history of doing what's needed to serve our customers well. Who We’re Looking For The Commercial Reporting & Analytics Analyst is a hands-on analyst for Commercial Operations who can pull data from several systems, check it, and explain what it means to business leaders. The role connects data across Salesforce, NetSuite, Gong and Microsoft Fabric, finds where the numbers disagree, and turns what it finds into clear recommendations that help leaders decide what to do next. The ideal candidate is curious about how the business works and likes fixing messy data problems. They are technical and detail oriented, and check their own work before anyone else has to. They see automation as the answer to repeat work and are comfortable using modern AI tools to get there. They always ask what the number means and who needs to act on it, take initiative, take ownership, and keep learning. What You’ll Be Doing
- Pull, clean and combine data from Salesforce, NetSuite, Gong, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
- Write SQL and Python to support reporting, reconciliation and analysis
- Build and maintain trusted datasets, dashboards and recurring management reports
- Find manual reporting steps and replace them with scripts and scheduled workflows
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code to build and review work faster
- Turn complex data into clear findings, trends and recommendations, and build executive ready PowerPoint decks, summaries and charts
- Support monthly business reviews, the commercial scorecard, annual operating planning and leadership presentations
- Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Finance, Marketing, Operations and IT, and agree on what each KPI means across teams
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- 2 to 3 years in business analytics, reporting, business intelligence or a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics or a related field
- Working SQL: joins, aggregations and checking your results against the source
- Practical Python, especially pandas, for pulling, cleaning and automating data work
- Advanced Excel: formulas, pivot tables, data cleanup and analytical models
- Knowledge of pipeline, bookings, revenue, churn, retention, margin and sales productivity analysis
- Hands-on experience using command line tools and APIs, with Claude Code or similar AI CLI tools, to pull data from business systems such as Salesforce, Gong and NetSuite
- Experience building reports in Power BI or a similar BI tool
- Ability to investigate when numbers do not match, and explain the cause simply
- Ability to explain what moved a number and why, in plain language: what happened, why it matters, and what to do about it
- Ability to automate repeat work and test automated outputs against the source systems before anyone relies on them
- Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to make clean, clear slides for business leaders
- Good judgment about priorities, and the ability to work independently and ask thoughtful questions
- Ability to manage your own deliverables, timelines and follow through
- Ability to work across teams and communicate with executives
Preferred Skills
