Warren Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining staff schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels and support the daily operations of the facility.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and adjust employee schedules based on facility staffing needs.
- Coordinate staffing coverage for open shifts, call-offs, vacations, and other scheduling changes.
- Work closely with department leaders to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
- Monitor staffing needs and identify potential scheduling concerns proactively.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and communicate schedule changes to employees and leadership.
- Assist with ensuring schedules are consistent with facility policies, staffing requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Respond to staffing concerns and scheduling issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Collaborate with nursing and department leadership to support efficient daily operations.
- Monday–Friday on-call responsibilities as part of the position.
Qualifications
- Previous scheduling, staffing, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with department leadership.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office preferred.
