Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Manual or CNC Lathes and Mills
- Lead shop operations and train under current foreman
- Program/edit using Mastercam and Mazak conversational programming.
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Perform offsets, tool changes, and adjustments
- Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Maintain production quality and tight tolerances
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Follow safety and shop procedures
Requirements
- 10+ years CNC milling / lathe experience and strong willingness to lead daily operations
- Strong programming/editing skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T
- Precision measurement proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Stand for long periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in a manufacturing environment
