IT Infrastructure Administrator

Walton Signage is a well-respected, innovative company in the signage industry. The IT Infrastructure Administrator reports to the VP of Finance and IT and works in coordination with a peer to handle all aspects of IT Infrastructure from end-user Help Desk support to development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT Infrastructure vision and strategy. The position is part of a small IT team, allowing for a hands-on approach and the ability to make a greater impact on the organization.

RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• Highly customer service oriented, supporting both internal and external users.
• Proactively and continuously seeks to improve IT infrastructure.
• Management of budgets, costs, and resources.
• Negotiates vendor agreements.
• Manage third party partnerships with IT suppliers.
• Manage third party 7x24 Security Operations Center
• Establish and manage processes that are responsive to resolving user reported issues.
• Maintains and improves system/network operational performance.
• Ensure company data is available and appropriately backed up.
• Maintain and enhance information security program to ensure protection of company information.
• Promote teamwork within the IT team and across the organization.
• Policy development and implementation.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in budgeting and vendor negotiations.
• Configuring and administering all aspects of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of offerings including Exchange, InTune & Autopilot, Defender EDR, Teams including Teams Voice.
• Identity management with both Active Directory and Entra/Azure along with leveraging MFA & Passwordless technologies.
• Managing corporate and BYOD mobile fleets with both Android and iOS based devices.
• Supporting and patching Windows 10/11 workstations and Windows Servers.
• Knowledgeable in cloud services and cloud migration, ideally AWS.
• Experience with Information Security.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability deliver multiple technology projects on time and within budget.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Passionate about emerging technology trends.
• Familiarity with e-Sentire or Sumo Logic are pluses.
